Both groups arrived safely in San Juan on Saturday night. We returned safely to the church in Cabo Rojo to get a little rest at 4am of Sunday morning.

After breakfast, we worshiped with our brothers and sisters at El Centro Cristiano de Restauracion, singing, dancing, and praising God together.

In the afternoon, we had lunch and orientation, and then had some "down time" (i.e. nap time) before attending a Puerto Rican festival in the nearby town of Mayaguez.

There, the group experienced authentic food, local artwork, and live music. We've learned that the church and school that we're serving wants to bless us just as much (maybe more?) than we want to bless them.

So far, it's been a humbling and uplifting experience for the group.

Today, we jump into ministry with some sports at a nearby park and then door-to-door outreach in the afternoon.
