During our first week in Arecibo, we got the word that one of our translators needed help painting her house.  We later found out that their house has been 17 years in the making, and it had been years that the walls had been left bare. Over the course of 2 weeks and through 2 teams, Josie's house was finally painted!

Week 1

Josie's mom all ready to have her house painted.

Week 1 Team was able to prime the interior of the house

Week 2

The second team finished priming the ceilings.

They worked hard to get all the walls and ceilings painted before the end of the week.

A job well done.

It's amazing to see how short-term teams can have a long-term impact on someone's life.
